With increased depth and an extended pre-season, the Force is set for an intriguing battle with the Reds to kick off its 2022 campaign as part of a blockbuster double-header.
The squad contains a number of familiar faces, including lock Mahalia Ellis, flanker Anneka Stephens, scrum-half Aiysha Wigley and winger Madeline Putz, who are all named to start.
In the first meeting between the sides since 2020, there’s a host of experience named on the bench poised to make an impact.
Former NRL star Stephens can’t wait to be out there at HBF Park tomorrow.
“It’s really exciting to get game time and to have our first game in front of a home crowd. We’ve got a lot of family and friends who are excited to support us,” Stephens said.
“Rugby is taking off in WA, which is really positive. I’m enjoying being in the forwards and I’m raring to go.”
