The Western Force in conjunction with Spinifex Brewing Company are pleased announce the launch of the first collaborative beer, UNION Ale. This ultra-low carb, mid-strength ale (3.5% ABV) has been a six-month long project between the two organisations with an aim to start creating positive conversations about mental health and the benefits that being part of a team can bring.
A percentage of the profit from every can and keg will be donated directly to Veterans and First Responders Mental Health Charity, Connected By. Craft beer fans and the “Sea of Blue” will be able to get a taste of this refreshing drop, from 4pm this Saturday 4 of Feb at the Force Fan Day pre-season hit-out against the Reds at UWA Sports Park.
Force Union Ale will be available for purchase at First Choice and a range of independent liquor stores from Monday 6th February 2023. Spinifex Brewing Company will also be collaborating with The Brisbane Hotel as the official Western Force venue and will stock Union Ale on tap for the duration of the 2023 Super Rugby season.

The mid-strength beer category continues to enjoy very rapid growth in Australia over the past three decades, with the category’s share rising from 10% in the 1990’s to more than 25% in recent years.
