The Western Force will unveil the Club’s own First Nations design warm-up tee at Friday’s 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season opener against the Hurricanes.

The warm-up tee is designed by well-known local Aboriginal artist Kevin Bynder, with the team to wear it during their pre-game individual and team warm-ups on field.

Bynder, a proud Whadjuk-Yuet-Ballardong man, is our 2024 artist chosen to create our warm-up tee. Supporting our 'First Nations Round Every Round' mindset, the warm-up tee will represent our team and club not just for First Nations Round, but over the entire season.

The front of shirt artwork is dotted in layers; representing the club as one, the seven backs, the eight forwards, the 15 starters and the 23 gameday players.

The back of shirt artwork shows the State of WA; the circles represent the Aboriginal communities of the state.

The artwork represents all Aboriginal people, their language and the history of over 60,000 years which it still taught and shown through culture.

There are approximately 250 Aboriginal languages in Australia with 90 languages in WA; Kimberley and Pilbara area of the North, the Gascoyne areas in the Midwest, Wheatbelt, Desert, Goldfields, South West and the beautiful city of Perth.

Fans will get their chance to see it for the first time at Friday night’s game against the Hurricanes with kick-off at 7pm at HBF Park. The warm-up tee will also be available to purchase online from Friday.
