Philipson is a promising scrum-half, who earned a full Force contract for the first time ahead of the 2025 season after a few years within the Club’s Fortescue Academy. Originally growing up on a farm near Orange in regional NSW, Philipson played for Cron’s former club Northern Suburbs. He moved west to join the Academy before playing his part in Palmyra’s 2023 WA Fortescue Premier Grade triumph. Philipson has been involved at Australia representative level too, including being part of the preliminary squad prior to the 2024 U20 Rugby Championship. He was part of the Force’s spring tour of South Africa last year.
