Speedy and fleet-footed winger Hifo impressed in her debut season last year, playing five times and scoring one try. Prior to that, Hifo switched from rugby league to union, having represented Tonga in league, including at the 2023 Pacific Championships where she faced New Zealand in front of 10,000 fans at Eden Park. She also won the 2023 NRLWA Women’s Premiership Grand Final with Joondalup Giants. Hifo, whose father lives in Perth, originally played union coming up within the Sydney Uni set-up, before switching to Southern Lions in WA.
