Samantha Wood

ARKS product Wood is still only 19-years-old but has penned a two-year contract after winning the club’s Rising Star award in 2023. Seen as “the future of the club”, the teenage half-back made making her Force debut in Round 5 last season after overcoming injury. Underlining her promise, Wood was the 2022 Fortescue Women’s Premier Grade leading point scorer with Kalamunda. Spent time with Waikato in New Zealand’s Farah Palmer Cup in 2023, building her experience and rugby base.
