Ten Western Force players have been named in Rugby Australia’s 46-player contracted squad for the Wallaroos ahead of the 2025 season.

The squad is split across four tiers, with these players under monitor for the Rugby World Cup in August.

The Force are represented by Georgia Cormick, Michaela Leonard, Hera-Barb Malcolm Heke, Ashley Marsters, Sera Naiqama, Alapeta Ngauamo, Trilleen Pomare, Allana Sikimeti, Cecilia Smith and Samantha Wood.

Malcolm Heke, who was named Force vice-captain for 2025 earlier this week, and Wood are both WA locals playing for Kalamunda along with Force skipper Pomare who runs out for Wanneroo.

The managed group includes 17 players from the NSW Waratahs, 10 each from the Force and Queensland Reds, and nine ACT Brumbies representatives.

"We are pleased to see continued progress taking place in terms of a full and comprehensive international schedule leading into the Wallaroos’ Rugby World Cup campaign in 2025," RA General Manager - Women's High Performance Jaime Fernandez said in a statement.

"With increased Test opportunities and more time spent together as a team, we are seeing the emergence of new talent while also seeing positive progression in those players who have been mainstays of the program over many years.

"This is an exciting combination, growing the depth of the program, while also providing healthy and productive competition for the opportunity to be selected for the Rugby World Cup later in the year."
