The Western Force is delighted to announce that AMCAP Distribution Centre has committed to being an official partner for the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season.

AMCAP has been a hospitality and advertising partner over the past two years and the new two-year deal sees the proudly Western Australian company own the naming rights to the AMCAP Legends Lounge, an exciting new premium hospitality space for the sporting fanatic at HBF Park.

AMCAP is a leading parts distributor servicing the mining, industrial and automotive industries for over 50 years. AMCAP customers are serviced out of a modern purpose-built storage and distribution facility covering 23,000 square metres and will be providing valuable work opportunities to our Western Force Fortescue Academy players over the course of their tenure.

The initiative with the Academy aims to assist the young players in their crucial transition between school life and their journey to becoming professional athletes.

Western Force business development manager Huw Lock is pleased to have the WA business increase its support of the club. “It’s been a pleasure working alongside AMCAP since 2019 and it’s great to see them further their commitment to rugby in WA and the Force with this meaningful partnership structure,” Lock explained.

“Our game day experience is one of the best in the country and to have the AMCAP Legends Lounge up and running for the new season is hugely exciting for Members and fans to enjoy the game in the best way possible.

“A balanced and holistic approach to life is a crucial value for us an organisation, so to have AMCAP provide career opportunities for our rising stars in the Academy is fantastic.”

AMCAP industrial general manager Kevin Yap is delighted to have the partnership develop in such a positive manner.

“We are extremely proud to be an official partner of the Western Force through the naming rights of the Legends Lounge. As our business continues to grow, we see the partnership with the Western Force as a fantastic way to connect with the community through sport,” Yap said.

“Super Rugby is an iconic code that reaches a broad and diverse audience, and this opportunity to build rapport with supporters greatly appealed to AMCAP. We were really attracted to this sponsorship, as it provides opportunities for us to engage with Western Force’s large Membership base and corporate partners, which in turn help us to continue to build our brand presence.”
