The Western Force are delighted to announce three Fortescue Premier Grade clubs will host the games in the upcoming North vs South Women’s Series.

The three-game women’s pathway series is geared towards identifying and developing the top female talent across Western Australia, providing meaningful and high-quality match opportunities with a view to transitioning into the Force’s 2026 Super Rugby Women’s side.

The seven Fortescue Women’s Premier Grade clubs have been split into two regions, with Wests Scarborough, Wanneroo and UWA representing the North and Palmyra, Southern Lions, Kalamunda and Cottesloe representing the South.

The opening game of the series will be played at Southern Lions RUFC’s Success Regional Sporting Facility, as part of a double-header alongside the Force taking on the Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby Men’s U16s from 1pm on Sunday 19 October.

The second game will be played at Cottesloe Rugby Union Club’s Harvey Field on Saturday 25 October as a standalone fixture.

The third and final game will be hosted by Wanneroo Rugby Union Club at Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex on Saturday 1 November.

Western Force female high performance pathways manager Claudia Bell said: “On behalf of the Club, we want to thank Southern Lions, Cottesloe and Wanneroo for hosting these three games and helping bring to life this concept which is a really important step for the women’s rugby pathway in WA.”

Times for all three games will be confirmed in coming weeks.
