The Western Force is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Ozich as the new attack coach.

Ozich joins the Force from New Zealand provincial club side, Hawke’s Bay, where he was head coach since 2017. He also enjoyed a season as the Highlanders Super Rugby Aoteroa U20s head coach this year.

Vastly experienced in his craft, Ozich has led Hawke’s Bay to the 2020 Mitre 10 Cup championship division title and the Ranfurly Shield during his time with the club.

Western Force chief executive officer Tony Lewis is thrilled to have Ozich on board.

“Mark (Ozich) is a fantastic addition to the coaching team. He is a coach that has achieved and understands success, having won two national title school titles and winning silverware with Hawke’s Bay in recent years,” Lewis explained.

“He is an exceptional educator and communicator who will instil confidence and belief in the squad to be the leading force in Super Rugby.”
