The Western Force have made a handful of changes for Saturday’s Super Rugby Men’s U19s clash with the ACT Brumbies at Tompkins Park from 12pm.
The Force have made three changes to the starting line-up that was beaten by the NSW Waratahs in Sydney in Round 1, along with four additions to the impact squad.
Wildfires hooker H Hattingh, Nedlands outside-centre Fatani Fatanitavake and Wanneroo winger Kade Davis come into the starting side, with the latter having played off the bench against the ‘Tahs.
Bayswater’s Josh Pulu, Wests Scarborough’s Rohan Viskovich and Cottesloe duo Cruz Remi and Kalani Chong Sue all are added to the 23 as finishers.
Wanneroo lock Manaia TeTana – who scored the Force’s lone try against the ‘Tahs - and Southern Lions outside back Wallace Charlie will co-captain the side once again.
Hattingh’s addition sees a front-row shuffle with club mate Cajun Arnfield reverting to loosehead prop and Palmyra’s Zavier Hawira switching across to tighthead on home soil.
Southern Lions lock William Crew partners TeTana in the second row, with the impressive Luke Holt-Brown alongside Associates blindside flanker Felix Cooper and Fortescue Academy openside flanker Nathaniel Gallagher in the back row.
Wanneroo duo Tamarangi Tunui and Brodie Mainwaring will team up again at scrum-half and fly-half respectively, with Roodogs teammate Chris Jansen alongside Fatanitavake in the midfield.
Southern Lions and Academy talent Peni Naqau and Davis start on the wings, with Aussie 7s speedster Charlie rounding out the back three.
The game is free entry and will be followed by the Force-Brumbies’ Super Rugby AUS clash from 2pm. Both games will be streamed on rugby.com.au’s YouTube channel and Stan Sport.
The Force thanks partners Fortescue, UWA, Goodyear, ADD Business Group and Elan as well as RugbyWA for their support of the U19s programs.
