The Western Force have selected a powerful starting line-up to take on the world’s most successful rugby club over the last decade, New Zealand’s Crusaders, with Jeremy Thrush making his Force debut.
The former All Black lock played over 110 Super Rugby games with the Wellington Hurricanes before moving to English side Gloucester and brings invaluable experience and muscle to the squad as it takes on Super Rugby’s top team.
Thrush’s former Gloucester teammate Cameron Orr will not only make his Force debut, but will also play on the same side as older brother Harrison for the first time since high school.
After passing a series of concussion tests, Brad Lacey is in the starting 15, however George Pisi hasn’t recovered from a shoulder injury and was not available for selection.
Former All Black under 20’s forward Henry Stowers will have his first start.
