Western Force quartet Samantha Wood, Hera-Barb Malcolm Heke, Brooklyn Teki-Joyce and Rosie Ebbage are all set to play for Australia A in Monday’s one-off game with Manusina Samoa.
Reigning Rebecca Clough medallist Wood has been selected as vice-captain of the side, with kick-off on Monday 16 September from 10am WST.
The match will be played with adapted rules and an 11-strong bench to ensure all squad members get game time.
Force women’s head coach Dylan Parsons will act as Australia A assistant coach for the game, having linked up with the camp this week.
The match comes in partnership with Lakapi Samoa and the Australian government along with PacificAus Sports as the Australians get the chance to impress against the 18th-ranked Samoans, the first time Australia A will face them.
