The Western Force wishes to thank outgoing assistant coach Will Eggleston for his three years of excellent service to the Club.

Eggleston will depart the Force at the end of this month to move to Japan with his young family to take up a coaching opportunity.

Eggleston has spent three seasons with the Force, playing a key role as the Super Rugby side’s defence coach under head coach Simon Cron. He also led the squad during last year’s South Africa spring tour where the side won two of three games.

The Englishman has been instrumental in guiding the team through several significant milestones, including the development of many key players.

Force head coach Simon Cron said: “Will has worked extremely hard at the Western Force to do everything in his power to help the team grow and develop.

“Will’s passion, drive and commitment have helped build some key foundations for the squad, and for the broader organisation.

“The role presented is a really great opportunity for him to continue his journey in coaching in a different environment which will challenge him in different ways. It’ll be great for his career.

“We thank him for his contributions at the Force and wish him, his partner Camilla and baby Billy all the best for the future.”
