The Western Force U20s have been beaten 33-14 against the ACT Brumbies in Canberra in their second east coast tour game this week.

The Force backed up Saturday’s loss to the Waratahs with Wednesday’s game played across three 20-minute periods in the capital, where they started seven under-18 players to offer them exposure.

Luke Megson, Brodie Mainwaring, Cassius Dougal, Cruz Remi, Chase Bunce, Felix Cooper, Jasper Asi and Finn Prass were among the Force players who stood out.

Bunce added to his try in the Waratahs loss, with another try, while Felix Cooper also got on the board. Prass converted both tries.

The Brumbies jumped the Force in the first 20 minutes with well-constructed tries, opening up a 21-0 lead.

The Force had scrum issues too, as the Brumbies pulled out to 33-0 before the visitors rallied in the final period.

The Force will round out the side’s three-game tour with a final game against the Brumbies on Sunday from 11am AEDT / 8am WST.
