Wallabies superstar Kurtley Beale has re-signed with the Western Force for the 2026 season. Check out some of his highlights.

The Western Force today announces the re-signing of experienced Wallabies utility back Kurtley Beale for the 2026 Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific campaign, marking his 18th pre-season.

Beale has spent the past 18 months with the Force, earning a Wallabies recall in mid-2024 following a strong back-half to the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season.

The veteran returned to make four appearances late in the 2025 season on an injury cover contract after overcoming a long-term Achilles injury, including scoring on his return game away to the Blues.

Beale went on to play a key part in the side that reached the recent Super Rugby AUS Grand Final.

The dynamic utility back, who has had a decorated career including earning 95 Wallabies caps, playing at three World Cups and winning the John Eales medal in 2011, brings quality, experience and leadership to the Force squad. He’s also played 173 times at Super Rugby level.

Force head coach Simon Cron said: “As we saw from his games at the back-end of the Super Rugby season, in Super Rugby AUS and with the First Nations-Pasifika side, he still has a lot to give.

“One thing that separates KB from most players is his uncanny anticipation. He can anticipate where to go before anyone else does, which means he’s always in position.

“His experience and driven nature continues to add enormous value to our team and players both on and off the field.”

Beale was delighted to be back in Force blue and excited about the potential within the squad for 2026.

Beale said: “I’m thrilled to be back for another season with the Sea of Blue. I’m really enjoying working with the coaches and players at the Force. My family and I have loved our time in Perth, so we’re thrilled to be sticking around.

“I’ve still got more to give and the hunger to play at the highest level is still there. I also really want to give back and help out the young boys with their craft and development.

“I’m really excited about the potential at the Force going into next year and hoping to be part of a positive run into a first finals berth which would be huge for the Club.”

The Force's 2026 Super Rugby Pacific squad will be announced on Thursday 6 November.
