The Western Force is thrilled to have skilful centre Bayley Kuenzle re-sign with the club for a further two years.

A cornerstone in the Force's backline, Kuenzle joined the club in 2021, clocking up 16 caps, earning a spot in the Australia A touring team.

Kuenzle is confident this new deal will prosper his rugby knowledge under the experienced head of Simon Cron.

"It was great to play last year and with Crono [Simon Cron] coming in as new coach, he is working through some good combinations, I can't wait to get out there and play some great footy," Kuenzle mentioned.

"This season has been a growth year for me, Crono is building a decent squad and I am looking forward to being a part of a few successful years with the Force."

"I am really enjoying the lifestyle here; that was a contributing factor to staying, I have loved every minute of it so far."

Cron acknowledges Kuenzle's adaptability and aggression for growth, contributes to his thirst for excellence.

"We've learnt a lot about Bayley this year, he has applied himself and is a sponge. He is jumping in and implemented himself to be a student of the game," Cron stated.

“Bayley has the right mentality, he is tough, and always beats the first defender with acceleration that separates him from others.”

Kuenzle is driven, fixated on his path for success, unwavering in his intentions.

"I want to keep building towards my goal of playing for the Wallabies and winning a Super Rugby title, so being here under Crono is where I need to be," Kuenzle confirmed.

"To build a cohesive squad and good culture, you need to retain players. This is massive in footy, to have consistent combinations makes our jobs a lot easier, so to have key players stick around is great for the club and our success.”
