Western Force pair Peni Naqau and Iziah Lolohea have both been selected in the Australian Youth Boys 7s squad for an upcoming camp to be held at Lennox Head.

The duo both were part of the Force’s recent Super Rugby Men’s U19s campaign, boosting their cases for selection.

Naqau is a Fortescue Academy squad member and Southern Lions winger, while Lolohea is a Nedlands winger/full-back.

Naqau didn’t miss a minute of the Force’s U19s campaign, scoring one try and totalling 334 carry metres (team second best) across the three games. He showed his pace and elusiveness with nine line breaks and 11 defenders beaten.

The camp will be held at Lennox Head from Friday-Sunday 7-9 November, acting as a selection and preparation opportunity ahead of the Global Youth Sevens Tournament in December.

There will be a secondary camp later in November in Queensland, before the Global Youth Sevens Tournament in Auckland which runs from 15-22 December.
