The Western Force’s fixtures for the 2026 Swyftx Super Rugby Women’s season have been confirmed as the side guns to go one step further after back-to-back semi-finals appearances.
The Force will host two games across the five-round season which will be played across June and July in 2026, in a move to align with the international women’s rugby schedule.
The WA side’s two home games will come against the Queensland Reds on Saturday 20 June and the NSW Waratahs on Saturday 27 June.
The latter will be played at Palmyra Rugby Club, while the venue for the Reds’ clash is to be confirmed.
The Force has the Round 1 bye, before travelling away to Nadi to face the Fijian Drua in Round 2 on Saturday 13 June.
The WA side then host the Reds and the Waratahs – both 2025 grand finalists - in successive weeks, before travelling to Canberra to face the ACT Brumbies on Sunday 5 July to round out the regular season.
There will be a rest weekend prior to the semi-finals weekend on July 17-19 with the Grand Final to be played on the weekend of July 24-26.
For the second straight season, there will be a Women’s Super Rugby Champions Final between the Australia and New Zealand champions on Saturday 1 August at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney.
Force CEO Niamh O’Connor said: “Our women’s program continues to go from strength to strength and we’re really ambitious about what we can achieve in the 2026 Super W season after back-to-back semi-finals appearances.
“One of our mantras at the Force is to be leaders in Australian rugby and we’re forging that path with our women’s program.
“We’re really proud of the growth of our Wallaroos contingent, with three more uncapped WA products this week named in the latest Australia squad, which is an endorsement of our program and the RugbyWA pathway.
“The Force squad returned to full pre-season this week, but the group has spent months together already dating back to last year’s successful North vs South Women’s Series.
“We’re confident that that consistent training in a high performance environment under Dylan Parsons and his team will only lead to continued growth and development and positive on-field results in 2026.”
The first week of Force pre-season included a Monday induction, before a Jarrahdale camp on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Fourteen members have already been announced for the 2026 Force Super W squad, with more announcements to come.
Every game of the 2026 Super Rugby Women's season will be broadcast live on Stan Sport.
