The Western Force would like to extend their utmost gratitude to all departing players for their commitment, passion and hard work during their time with the club.
Rob Kearney, Ireland’s most decorated player, departs after a memorable season with the Force. Kearney’s world class professionalism and experience proved vital throughout our historic 2021 campaign.
Argentinian trio of Tomás Cubelli, Tomás Lezana and Domingo Miotti will all be moving on to a new chapter. All four international stars enjoyed fantastic seasons with the Force and have left a lasting impression with their performances and humble attitudes on and off the pitch.
English speedster Jordan Olowofela returns to the UK as a name the Sea of Blue will remember for years to come. With a famous hat-trick against the Queensland Reds securing our first Super Rugby finals berth, Olowofela certainly made an impact at the club. The winger ended the season as our top try-scorer with four throughout the Super Rugby AU and Trans-Tasman competitions.
Wallaby Tevita Kuridrani is moving on to a new chapter after an exciting season in the west, with the star centre marking his final appearance for the club with a try against the Blues at Eden Park in Auckland.
Playmaker Jono Lance departs after his second stint with the Force. The flyhalf has made 28 appearances for the club.
Samoan international Henry Taefu departs the club with 27 Force appearances to his name after making debut for the club in 2018 against Tonga at HBF Park.
Jonah Placid, who has enjoyed three seasons with the club, including an NRC title win in 2019, will also be moving on to a new chapter in his career.
