The Western Force today confirms the side will play two pre-season trial games against 2025 finalists in Perth in late January ahead of the 2026 Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific season.

The fixtures add to a bumper month for WA rugby fans that includes the HSBC SVNS at HBF Park on Saturday-Sunday 7-8 February, before the Force’s 2026 Super Rugby season opener against the ACT Brumbies on Saturday 14 February at HBF Park.

The Force will host the Queensland Reds at Scotch College on Friday 23 January from 4:35pm WST.

Seven days later, the Force will line up to face the ACT Brumbies at Scotch College on Friday 30 January from 4:35pm WST.

The kick-off times replicate the Force’s regular starts including Round 1 against the Brumbies. Both games will be open to the public and free entry for fans, as anticipation builds ahead of the 2026 Super Rugby season.

The Force has bolstered its ranks in 2026 with several exciting signings including All Blacks winger George Bridge, Wallabies speedster Darby Lancaster, Argentina internationals Agustin Moyano and Franco Molina among others.

Force head coach Simon Cron said: “It’s exciting to lock in our pre-season program with two quality hit-outs against really good opposition ahead of the new season.

“The squad is currently working hard in pre-season and we’ll hit the ground running in January once we return from the Christmas break with a view to these games.

“We’d love to see the Sea of Blue out in support of us at the games and we encourage them to come along to see the players in action.”

2026 Force Memberships are on sale now from $145 per adult and $59 per junior, go to westernforce.rugby. Tickets for the 2026 season proper will go on sale in January.
