Divad Palu

Palu appeared a potential breakout player in 2025 after an impressive pre-season following his move from the Melbourne Rebels, only for shoulder injuries to limit his opportunities. However, the utility back, who is an explosive centre, is fit again and aiming high in 2026. Palu was part of Australia’s 2023 U20 Rugby Championship squad, playing games against both South Africa and New Zealand in May. Auckland-born, Melbourne-raised Palu has a Tongan father and Samoan mother. LA Lakers fan Palu is a part-time team barber, who is family focused. His father and Ma’a Nonu were his idols growing up. Palu is aligned with Nedlands in WA Fortescue Premier Grade whom he played for immediately after signing with the Force in mid-2024.
