The 19-time All Blacks winger and five-time Super Rugby champion was immediately installed into the leadership group after joining the Force ahead of this season. Previously a winger, Bridge looks set to play a role in the Force midfield. He was part of New Zealand’s 2019 World Cup squad, where he started four games on the wing, scoring in the pool stage win over South Africa and the quarter-final victory over Ireland. Bridge has scored 12 tries from his 19 Test caps. He has played 82 Super Rugby games and scored 37 tries from his time with the Crusaders (2017-2022) and clocked up 48 caps and 11 tries for Montpellier (2022-2025) while in France. Bridge, who grew up on the family farm outside of Gisborne, has a business and marketing degree, is a golf enthusiast and Dave Dobbyn fan.
