Koteka is a long-serving WA-born-and-bred Force player, who originates from Premier Grade club Wests-Scarborough. The flanker debuted for the Force in 2015, becoming the first member of the Future Force Foundation academy to make a Super Rugby appearance. He has made 41 appearances for the Club, winning the 2021 Nathan Sharpe Medal along the way, built around his reputation as a team-first player full of energy and toughness. Koteka was out of the Force set-up for two years, but returned to Force training in late 2024.
