Canberra-born lock Leonard is a decorated international player who captained the Wallaroos on numerous occasions in 2024, leading the side to WXV 2 glory. Leonard leaves no stone unturned in her preparation, consistently training with the Force men’s squad in pre-season. She played basketball as a junior but switched to rugby in her early 20s, rising rapidly to win the Brumbies’ 2018 rookie of the year and make her Wallaroos debut in 2019. She’s played in New Zealand (Matatu), England (Exeter) and France (Montpellier), plus at the 2021 Rugby World Cup. Leonard is a qualified vet physiotherapist, who loves the outdoors, horse riding and her Australian Shepherd dog Tucker.
