Mio Yamanaka

Yamanaka is a two-time Japanese Olympic sevens player who has switched to the 15-a-side game in 2025. The energetic and crafty scrum-half played for Japan at both the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as well as with the Japanese national team at the HSBC SVNS in Perth last year where she met Force head coach Dylan Parsons who worked as a local team liaison. Yamanaka also faced the Force in last year’s Japan tour with Mie Pearls, whom recently finished as Japanese runners-up.
