Nick Champion de Crespigny
- 29Age
- Back-rowerPosition
The hard-hitting back-rower joined the Force in late 2024 after three years in France with Castres, making his Super Rugby debut as a 28-year-old. Canberra-born Champion de Crespigny, who won two Shute Shield titles with Sydney University, never quite got his Super Rugby chance before heading to France in 2021. ‘Crep’ enjoyed a rapid rise upon returning to Australia, becoming a regular starter, recording 189 tackles across the season and earning his maiden Wallabies call-up for the British & Irish Lions tour. In his third international cap, he was remarkably named the 92nd Wallabies captain in a sign of his leadership. He’s since been made Force vice-captain. The forward has numerous off-field endeavours, including rowing, working as a RUPA representative and studying a Masters of Property Development. He previously completed a Bachelor of Economics.
