Reed Prinsep

The no-nonsense back-rower joined the Force midway through the 2024 season and quickly won over the coaches with his work-rate and go-forward, dubbed as ‘concrete’ for his hard-hitting style. Prinsep was the Force’s leading forward for metres gained (220) in 2024 from 82 carries and had the side’s third most tackles. Prinsep is a 10-time Maori All Blacks loose forward who previously played 71 Super Rugby games from 2017 to 2022 for the Hurricanes, along with one for the Crusaders in 2016. He is a father of two girls, has completed Law and Commerce (Finance) degrees and is a keen fisherman too.
