Ronan Leahy

Leahy is an emerging utility back who made his Super Rugby debut late in the 2024 season, having impressed with two tries in pre-season plus some cameos in the 2023 Toyota Challenge in South Africa. Leahy starred for Australia at the 2024 U20 Rugby Championship on the Sunshine Coast playing mostly inside-centre, before being named in the Team of the Tournament leading up to his Force debut. The St Joseph’s College product was born in Papua New Guinea and speaks Tok Pisin. His father is Papuan and his mother is Chinese-Australian. He spent time at boarding school in Toowoomba in his youth before moving to Sydney as a teenager, before heading west to join the Fortescue Academy in 2022.
