The Western Force’s Fortescue Academy players will play for their WA Fortescue Premier Grade clubs this Saturday.

The Academy were scheduled to play Cottesloe in the second of their three games against Premier Grade sides on the bye, but the Seagulls have had to withdraw due to low player availability.

As a result, fit and available Academy players will play for their respective allocated clubs throughout the competition from 3:30pm Saturday 12 April.

The Academy played Southern Lions last Saturday at Success, winning 48-5 with Brodie Mainwaring and Wallace Charlie both scoring doubles.

Force Super Rugby squad member Bayley Kuenzle will be among those in action with Associates away to Joondalup Brothers as he makes his return from a long-term knee injury.

Papillon Sevele is named again for Southern Lions having returned from long-term injury in last week's game against the Academy. All Force Super Rugby players, besides those returning from injury and UWA duo Ronan Leahy and Doug Philipson, are on leave due to the bye.
