Goodyear has levelled up their backing of the Western Force by becoming a major partner for the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season.

The iconic tyre company joined the Force family last year as an official partner. Following a successful campaign together, Goodyear has signed as a major partner for their second year with the club.

As one of the global leaders in the industry, Goodyear has been operating at the highest level for well over 120 years and now boast 55 facilities in 23 countries.

Goodyear will have their iconic branding displayed on the side panels of the men’s team apparel and training wear for a second year running, with coach polos also sporting their signature logo.

Tony Lewis, chief executive officer of the Western Force is delighted to see the relationship grow with Goodyear ahead of the exciting new Super Rugby Pacific campaign.

“Having enjoyed a historic year together in 2021, it’s fantastic to see Goodyear increase their support of the club and rugby in Western Australia,” Lewis explained.

“As an organisation, we want to build on the strong foundations set last year, so it’s great to have our ambitious vision for growth shared by our partners in 2022.”

John Black, vice president of sales and marketing, OTR Asia Pacific at Goodyear said he can’t wait to further engage with the Force and the ever-growing rugby community in WA.

“Goodyear is much more than a tyre company. We're a company dedicated to the relentless pursuit of excellence, encouraging everyone to push past boundaries to reach their full potential,” Black said.

“The Western Force rugby community is built on passion, determination, and a never-say-never attitude that has provided inspiration in the toughest of times. Given the club’s history and the passion of its fans, the Force is a perfect partner for Goodyear to work alongside.”
