Western Force prop Greg Holmes has been called up to the Wallabies squad and has travelled with the team to the Gold Coast.

Holmes last played for the Wallabies in 2016 and joins the squad as injury cover for the upcoming Rugby Championship Test matches.

The veteran has been rewarded for an outstanding Super Rugby campaign in the front row in which he earned his 150th cap against the Queensland Reds.

Holmes will be looking to add to his 27 caps for the Wallabies after making his debut in 2005 against France and playing part in two World Cups (2007 and 2015).
