The Western Force will take on the ACT Brumbies in the opening round of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season at HBF Park, almost 20 years to the day of the Club's first-ever game.

The Western Force will open their 2026 Super Rugby Pacific campaign against the original foes, the ACT Brumbies, in Round 1 at HBF Park on Saturday 14 February from 4:35pm WST.

The Force played the Brumbies in the Club’s maiden Super Rugby fixture on February 10 2006 in front of 37,000 fans at Subiaco Oval.

There’s been plenty of memorable encounters beyond the inaugural 2006 game, including the Force’s comeback victory from 22-0 down in 2008, the Nick Cummins’ inspired 21-15 win in 2013, the Force’s maiden Super Rugby AU final in 2021, the 2023 “little puppies” victory and the Force’s drought-breaking 2025 road win in Canberra.

The full 2026 Super Rugby Pacific fixture will be released later this week.
